Simon Shenton

Simon joined Miles Platts as Managing Director in May 2025 and will be focused on building a robust strategy to enable the business to achieve an ambitious growth plan over the course of the next 5 years.

Simon brings many years of leadership experience within manufacturing businesses and has held Managing Director and Commercial Director positions within the packaging, paper and plastics industries.

Fluent in Italian, Spanish and French, Simon has extensive international sales experience and has lived and worked in Italy for 5 years. Additionally, he has built global distribution networks in US, China, India and Europe.

Prior to joining Miles Platts, Simon was Managing Director for C&T Matrix, a manufacturer of plastic extruded products for the packaging conversion industry where he was responsible and successfully grew the business fourfold through geographic expansion and product diversification.
