Tom Cuthbertson

Tom joined the business in 2021 as a Technical Sales Engineer working with both the Sales and Design teams regarding tooling and the designing of new parts. Tom's main responsibility is working with customers through the design process by providing technical advice and support to customers from the beginning to the completion of their projects. Alongside this, he aids customers with material selection through communications with suppliers and technical support to ensure the correct engineering polymers are used for each project.

With three years of experience at Miles Platts, Tom has developed a strong proficiency in collaborating with a variety of customers, offering tailored technical solutions, and navigating complex design processes. His hands-on experience has deepened his understanding of the precision technical moulding industry, enabling him to effectively support clients from the beginning of a project to completion.
