Miles Platts stainless steel ETD 44 clips/ yokes are designed to work efficiently with the Miles Platts ETD 44 vertical & horizontal bobbins.  Manufactured from 301 stainless spring steel, the clips engage with features on the bobbin to secure the clip and provide a constant spring pressure along the long side of the core half.  The clips provide secure fixing of the core half and offer a robust and quick assembly method for transformer manufacturers.  The uniform spring pressure applied to the core half ensures a repetitive force between the cores and helps limit differences in inductance values from transformer to transformer. 

An updated design clip has been introduced in June 2024 so please be aware you may notice a visible difference between old & new deliveries- same performance.  The website shows both versions.  Please click the link below for the ‘product change notification’ explaining the changes.
