Quality is at the heart of what we do here at Miles Platts and we strive to provide all of our customers with high-quality service from design to manufacturing and despatch. To react to the needs of our customers we have developed and redesigned our labelling system to improve our stock management and overall product quality.

Our new box labelling system integrates technology and efficiency into our existing processes which allows us to eliminate the risk of errors and create an automated stock management network providing us with full product traceability.

We have introduced a range of new technologies across the business to streamline stock management processes, including:

• Wi-Fi barcode scanners for automated stock takes
• Hand-held scanners for efficient offline inventory checking
• New labellers to print different-sized labels located across the factory

Our updated labelling system now gives us the ability to exactly reproduce box labels and automatically split or combine boxes which can be tracked individually and avoid duplicates.
For our customers, this will mean there is an overall reduced risk of errors and we will be able to provide precise and uniform products to our customers every time.
