Quality Overview

Quality is at the heart of what we do at Miles Platts and is reflected in our standards and awarded accreditations.

We are a UL-certified moulder QMMY2 and are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001, operating an LRQA-certified management system to support our zero defects policy. To further support our zero-defect policy, we take a total quality management approach with the use of sample inspections, batch SPC inspections, tensile and compression material testing and equipment calibration.

Our onsite quality management and testing equipment include Starrett AVR 300 Automatic Video Metrology System, Starrett KMR 200 video Metrology system and Lloyd 2500N LRX Tensile Tester. This equipment enables our quality department to accurately monitor and inspect components to ensure they are defect free and manufactured to the highest standards.
